Designed in collaboration with the famed sports car maker from Maranello, Italy, the elegant Becker Traffic Assist Pro will add a touch of racing luxury to your vehicle’s ‘cockpit’. The new mobile

|navigation system is the product of many years of partnership between Harman/Becker Automotive Systems GmbH and Ferrari S.p.A. – a product of unique ergonomic design featuring special soft-touch materials, a prominently displayed logo in Ferrari’s distinctive, trademarked ‘rosso corsa’ red, customized Ferrari software, and exclusive, pre-installed multimedia contents including official Ferrari Gran Turismo car images and Ferrari dealers as additional special destinations.

|Packed with added functionality, this new navigation system is the first to feature a 4-GB SD card with preinstalled map data for Europe and the United States. SiRf Instant Fix II™ and free lifetime TMC* technologies on the new Traffic Assist Pro respectively deliver extraordinarily fast route calculation and up-to-date traffic information reception. The device is also equipped with Reality View and a Lane Info assistant that eases orientation. And built-in Bluetooth® technology allows the

|device to be used as a hands-free set.

PIN ENTRY

The unit provides anti-theft protection via PIN entry. The PIN is user-selectable and can be activated via menu. After the navigation system has been switched off, a PIN must be entered for reactivation.

SPLIT-SCREEN

In the split-screen view, the map is shown on the right half of the display. The direction of travel, and the next two turns appear as enlarged arrows on the left side of the screen along with driving time, distance, arrival time, speed and altitude difference.

TMC PRO*

Free lifetime TMC is a traffic holdup warning service. The service provides the latest reports on traffic conditions and hold-ups within Germany, thereby optimizing dynamic route calculation.
Free lifetime TMC reports are compiled with current traffic flow data that are automatically recorded with sensors. The data are transmitted to a data centre, where they are analysed and relayed to navigation systems.

SIRF INSTANTFIX II™

SiRf InstantFix II™ calculates the patterns and positions of available GPS satellites up to three days in advance. This ensures even faster vehicle positioning when route calculation starts.

BLUETOOTH® WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY

The Bluetooth® interface is designed for connecting Bluetooth®-compatible mobile phones. Telephone numbers and addresses can be directly entered via the touch-screen display or selected from a list of contacts.

REALITY VIEW

Nearly 4,000 directional signs on European motorways are presented true to life on the high-resolution display. This provides a clear overview and alerts the driver ahead of time to upcoming lane changes and motorway junctions.

3D LANDMARKS

3D landmarks enhance spatial orientation on the road. Buildings and other characteristic landmarks along the route are shown in three-dimensional views.

LANE INFO

The Lane Info function points the way on multi-lane roads and complicated motorway exits. This gives the driver enough time to change lanes as required.
